Pengaruh Mindfulness Breathing Exercise Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Ibu Menopause

Menopause merupakan masa saat ovarium wanita mulai berhenti memproduksi hormon estrogen, hal ini berdampak pada perubahan fisik dan psikologis. Perubahan psikologis yang umum dirasakan oleh wanita menopause adalah kecemasan. Salah satu cara mengatasi kecemasan adalah melakukan terapi berdasarkan prinsip mindfulness breathing exercise. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh mindfulness breathing exercise terhadap tingkat kecemasan wanita menopause. Metode penelitian merupakan pre experimental dengan prepost test design. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 40 responden. Pengukuran dilakukan pada hari ke -1 (sebelum dilakukan intervensi mindfulness), serta post test pada hari ke-3,5,8,10,12, dan 14. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah Repeated ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan skor kecemasan wanita menopause (p<0.002 di hari ke-14). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah intervensi mindfulness breathing exercise menurunkan tingkat kecemasan wanita menopause
